Launched in 2016, with the first retreat being held in Dubai.
“Thank you so much for the fantastic opportunity and experience, I truly loved every minute of it. The location was perfect, the apartments were great and the food was amazing. I loved all of the workouts which were challenging but very rewarding.
I learned a lot during the retreat about fuelling my body through exercise. The structure of the day was great, a perfect balance between the exercise and free time which gave the opportunity to relax on the beach and explore the sites of Dubai.
I booked this opportunity not really knowing anyone but everyone welcomed me to the LJPT fitness family and I think that encouraging us to work with different partners throughout the week provided a good way to get to know people but it also pushed me a bit harder.
I would absolutely recommend LJPT fitness retreats to anyone. Bring on the next one!”
“LJPT in Dubai 2016…. What an amazing experience!! I’m so happy that I was able to take up this fantastic opportunity.
Firstly, the location… just perfect! Dubai was the perfect setting for the trip especially for our 6.30am beach workouts and late evening Yoga session! Our accommodation could not have been more perfect… Clean, comfortable and spacious apartments in a prime location.
The 4 days of training were intense and demanding but a great challenge. Lee made every training session varied and exciting, from morning beach workouts to evening runs on the beach or round the marina, pool sessions to weight based gym sessions and when I thought I couldn’t do anymore Lee and the rest of the LJPT team just boost and motivate you to carry on. Defiantly a great team vibe in Dubai.
The retreat enabled everyone to share cooking and nutritional advice and I loved picking up new tips and recipes for when I returned home. It was wonderful to train with a lovely group of people who made the whole experience one to remember.

“Having trained with Lee now for a number of years I wanted to book on to the fitness retreat as soon as he said about it. I love my training and finding out about healthy new recipes. Payments were laid out in a manageable way and Lee kept us up to date with his plans via a whatsapp group and a retreat meeting so that we got to meet everyone who was going.
D Day. Where to start… Lee had already arranged getting to the airport and booked our seats in etc so getting to Dubai was easy. Our apartments were amazing!!! They were HUGE all with en suite bathrooms, a dining room table enough for us all to get around, fully equipped kitchen and a big lounge area for us all to relax together. Lee had already arranged for a massive food shop order to be delivered to the apartments which was handy as we arrived late and was all starving. 10/10 for travel and apartments.
Every day began with a 6:00am wake up call to head down to the beach for our first work out of the day. It was a beautiful setting but the beach workouts were a killer. Training on sand wasn’t my favourite in the beginning but I soon got used to it. We’d then head into the gym to do weights or some HIIT work outs, go for Marina runs or activities in the pool. Every session was different and really pushed me. By day 2 my body was in pieces but I felt good. Lee joined in with our work outs but he always kept an eye on us, gave us encouragement and pushed us when we needed it. On the third day Lee arranged for us to go to yoga on the beach in the evening, it was a bit challenging but it was nice to stretch out and enjoy the views. On the last day we all went into the sea for a work out on the Wibit which was a bit like a mini Wipeout and it was hilarious. It was so hard but it was great fun and we all worked hard as a team.
Food was delicious. Lee made sure there was plenty for us to eat and fuel our bodies with. We all mucked in with the cooking and every meal was varied and easy so that we could do them at home. We was taught how much we needed to eat and drink so that we didn’t flag in training and what was best to eat when.
There was a few mornings we all woke up a bit sore and a bit aggy but as a team we all pulled together and really helped one another. I think I managed to partner up with just about everyone on different workouts which was fun. There was so many laughs I couldn’t possibly write them all down, we definitely made the best memories. On the last night Lee arranged for us all to go to a restaurant on the Palm, food, drinks, service and views were beautiful & it was a brilliant way to end our trip.
